Skills and Areas
An intern will gain practical experience in web development, graphics design, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), online marketing, localization, hosting and website maintenance, handling customers queries and phone calls, project management, records keeping, reporting, working with language memory systems, localising websites, and various Internet related tasks: posting articles, renewing links, updating content online, ad publishing etc.. This can be applied for future web design, development and localisation jobs. The main objectives are: creating new websites and updating existing ones, processing customer requests, hosting support for existing clients, improving the visibility of company websites over the Internet, maintenance of office computers, pricing and quotation of websites and graphics design.
Payment
This is an Internship. The payment is assumed by educational institution, scholarship fund or an intern themselves. We may decide to pay the intern some bonuses relating to their performance and achievements (e.g. 5-10% of a telesales). Accommodation will not be provided, but we can assist in arranging it. The intern will have to have reasonable finances for a stay in Ireland during the internship period.
Agreement
Intern should provide a sample agreement from the intern’s educational institution or authority paying for the scholarship. If intern is applying directly, we will send our own agreement to sign.
Mentor
The Organisation will assign a mentor to support the intern during the Internship.

Skills Required
The intern will be working mainly with Joomla and Wordpress websites, basic knowledge of those CMS will be an advantage. Some understanding of Google Analytics and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) methods and proficiency in HTML is necessary. Basic knowledge of PHP is beneficial but not required. Good communication skills and English are essential. The trainee should also have some knowledge of graphics software (e.g. Photoshop) and working knowledge of html/php editors (e.g. Dreamweaver and Expression Studio).
Internship Outcome
This is a great opportunity for someone to get trained in a web development sector. A candidate will be a part of small and bigger projects, learn SEO techniques, hosting aspects, website back-end configuration and web design process. We are planning to hire the intern after completion of the internship provided the person will gain relevant skills and meet our expectations.
Qualifications Details
Living certificate or equivalent. Must be fluent in English. Second language is an advantage but not necessary.
